Avachinsky volcano or Avachinskaya Sopka, as residents of the Kamchatka Territory call it, is an active volcano and is a complex, double volcano of the Somme-Vesuvius type. Once in ancient times, the Avacha volcano was much higher than its current size. But due to a huge explosion in the past, it was destroyed by almost half. And a new active cone has risen from the bowels of the earth, which has such smooth and beautiful outlines. Therefore, the Avachinsky volcano has such a double shape.
The Camel extrusion is located 28 km from the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and is a small rock massif with two sharp peaks, located on the pass between the Avachinsky and Koryaksky volcanoes (another name is the Two-Humped Rock). The height above sea level is 1200 m, the relative height is 200 m.
