09:00 Departure from the Petropavlovsk hotel.
Departure towards the Vilyuchinsky pass (about 3-4 hours). The pass offers an amazing view of the valley of the Paratunka River and the volcanoes Vilyuchinsky, Gorely, and Mutnovsky. In good weather, almost the entire southern group of volcanoes can be viewed from the pass. The top of the Vilyuchinsky volcano (2175 m) is covered with snow and glaciers almost all summer, so some people poetically call it the "white pearl of Kamchatka". There was a gas eruption on the volcano in 1957.
On the pass, you can notice a huge number of flowers - representatives of the Alpine flora, the flowering period of which replaces each other, which makes it seem that eternal spring reigns on the pass.
Preparing for a walking trip to the waterfall.
A 30-meter waterfall falls with a roar from one of the slopes of the Vilyuchinsky volcano. It has a glacial origin and is especially beautiful and powerful in the middle of summer, during the period of active snow melting. Falling from a great height, a huge mass of water makes its way through the snow and flows down the stream further into the valley. The walk to the waterfall takes about 3-4 hours.
Return to the car, lunch.
Boarding the car, departure in the direction of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (g-ca "Petropavlovsk").
19:00 Return to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The Petropavlovsk Hotel.
